I did something bad but made up for it (work related)?

Okay so, this guy came into Walmart and spent $15,000 on Electronics (NO JOKE). They ranged between Ipads to Ps4's. With each item he was getting, he was also getting free $40 giftcards. I was helping out my friend and it was a real mess. Well finally we got it all done, and cleaned up. I noticed that there were some gift cards that were left on the counter that i thought were empty so I put them back into the drawer. Well the next day I came into work, my friend said he found 4 gift cards (each containing $40 on them). So he said "lets keep them." I said "no i didnt want to." So we went to ask the security guard and he said "yeah just keep them, no need to give them to the manager." so we did, but i said lets give two to other team mates (one had lost her husband and the other didnt get enough hours, so i thought this could help if they need food or anything). So a day goes by and i felt guilty. I decided to buy 2 giftcards (to make up for the two i gave away) and returned our giftcards. Well I told my manager the situation but not the part that we gave them away, but they had found out, BUT I told them that I put money back into the cards to make up for it. They said they felt a little better but would need to see. Both the manager and HR said they liked me and that I work really hard. So today my friend and I were called in and we both got terminated. No cops were involved but I thanked them for the opportunity. Will this be on my record? Im really scared.

FOR THOSE WHO HAS iPad MINI 1st Generation?

Hey, today is my birthday and I'm thinking about getting the iPad Mini 1st Generation. Do you think it's worth getting? I have a few questions.

How is the screen display from 1 to 10? 1 being bad, and 10 being great. (Since I heard it doesn't have retina display)

Is ios 7 slow on iPad Mini 1st generation?

Was 16 GB enough storage for you?

Which one would you recommend. The iPad Mini 1 or the IPod Touch 5th Generarion (I'm on a budget, so it's between those two). Please help me decide, I'll be going to the store in a few hours and I don't wanna be disappointed with whatever I purchase.

Self defence in the UK?

Supposing a masked man who was unarmed broke in to your house in the middle of the night and was stealing your iPAD or laptop. You warned him to leave and were carrying a machete but he wouldn't leave, however he wouldn't attack you either. Would you be allowed to use the machete against him? What about if he came to attack you? Could you then?

This is a completely hypothetical situation. I do not own and have never owned a machete or any weapon!

How to get rid of cockroaches?

I was siting on my bed playing something on my iPad and then I felt something touch my foot and ignored it and than I looked down and it was a HUGE FAT GIANT cockroach and I ran out of my room so fast and bust the door open, I had my cigarette lighter and I almost burned my house down and I was BEYOND scared I almost had a heart attack, I ran and called my mom and she came and killed it. I just can't believe this one was so huge cockroaches don't even usually get that big. Will leaving all the lights on in the house deter them? Or do I need to get a bomb or something? I honestly would rather see a ghost in my house than a cockroach UGH please hell:,(
