Should I get an Ipad 1st generation or an Iphone 5?

I have a question to ask what would be better to get a new iPhone 5 or an I pad. I already have an iPhone 4 which I hate since it has little to no memory on it since it's an 8gb -_- and it's processor is slow as hell. I already have a laptop, so I kind of feel that me getting an iPad would be kind of worthless. Another thing about the iPhone 5 is Apple comes out with a new iPhone like every other month so I wanted to also know if anyone has any update on a new iPhone or the next generation of an iPhone.
I really like both ideas of the iPad or an iPhone 5, but I don't know which to choose. Can someone help me make this decision.

Why is it taking so long to install apps on my iPad Mini?

It takes like 10 minutes to install 1 app! Why! And can I speed it up?

How to set up my home Internet?

So I got this new router from Comcast and set it up for my home computer but I can't figure out how I make a network for all of my electronics such as my iPad and laptop. I have a linksys router that I used with my old Comcast router I just can't figure out how to set it up again. Btw my home computer is a Mac

Ipad switching on and off and battery percentage not changing. HELP!

I have an ipad 2 and when I am using it, it switches of after about 2-4 minutes. The battery percentage stayed at 2% and when charged it didnt increase and when i used it, it didnt decrease, it just switched off.

I then bought a new battery and fitted it myself and the battery percentage still doesn't increase when I charge it. However the battery percentage has moved from 2% to 71%.
If someone has had this problem or knows about it please suggest what is the problem/what I should do. Thanks

How to download apps on my new ipad 2?

I've made my apple ID but when i try to install facebook or any other app it says "your apple ID has not been used in the apple store" and then it asks my credit card details.what should i do ?

IPad mini or Mac book?

Next year i am taking an online class through my school and i want a new computer because my laptop is out of date and slow and has a lot of viruses. I was thinking about getting a smaller computer for easier transport. Should I get an iPad mini or a Mac book pro or one of the tinnier ones. I like both. I have an iPhone4s now and i had an iPod but i gave it to my mom.i would like the iPad because i cause put all my stuff on it and i can watch Netflix on a bigger screen and play games and stuff.but that is all touchscreen but they do have a keyboard you can hook on with it.with the laptop i can not put my music and apps on it but it'll be easier to use for writing papers if i have too, unless there is a word app. But if you have any good information this would help out a lot. Oh and prices, we all know times are tough today so I can not spend a lot of money since it will be my parents money also. Thank you so much for the help.

How to delete 'Apps' from my iPad?

I've downloaded a few 'free' apps but they seem to want a subscription… which I'm not prepared to pay… how do I delete these apps… I can't find a way… can you help?
