With Christmas around the corner, I've been looking around for audio setups for my room. I was hoping to get a really nice system for under the $250 territory. I plan on using them for audio for my TV, but also to play music off of my iPad. I bought a 2.1 set for $50 and it broke within a week.
Any recommendations? I really like these speakers here:

However, they're fairly expensive.Is there anything I can get that would be the equivalent to that for less? Or maybe better speakers for the same price? Or would those make for a great setup?
