IPad preparing to restore taking a long time?
Added (1). I paid a visit to my uncle and he was showing me his new iPad that he got for a gift. He has it about a year but rarely used it. When we powered it up we were prompted to update to the latest version of iOS. I clicked to update and the unit displayed a black screen with the apple logo and a progress bar. When the bar reached the end nothing seemed to happen. The screen went black and it hasnt started since.
I went into recovery mode and connected to itunes and for the last 3 hours iTunes
