I'm looking to get a tablet. I've never own one before and I've narrowed it down to either the new 2017 surface pro or the ipad pro 2. I see both seam to get a lot of hate and a lot of fans. I really just want a tablet that I can use the internet, maybe type some papers in public, plays some small games, and screw around on. Basically casual usage. I however want to get what I pay for and not be ripped off. Which would be worth the money? I'm going to spend around $1,300 on it. I already have a laptop and desktop so this won't be my only computer.
