I am writing an essay on technology in the classroom and im making a point that social skills wont go away if you have technology in the classroom.
Technology will not curtail a student's social skills, but enhance them. How long will it be before you realize that Siri, the personal assistant on the iPad, can't be your best friend? Communication will always remain in the classroom, whether technology is present in the classroom or not.
