I got an iPad for my birthday, the problem is I don't have internet connection in my house. I am not subscribed to Verizon, Optimum, Time Warner or any internet provider, my parents are too cheap to subscribe.My friends told me to connect to unsecured networks, however once I connect I am taken to a web page and have to log in to the network owners account, locking me out and prohibiting me from using the internet. Basically I want to know what my options are? What is 3G? With 3G, am I able to connect to the internet no matter where I am?
