So, are we in the future now?

I mean, I know most people are dissapointed by the lack of flying cars and jetpacks but you really got to wonder how far we have really come.
1. Personal computers on every desk
2.an iPad is like something out of Star Trek
3. Smartphones and tablets look way more futuristic than many futures predictions
4. We do have a spacestation in orbit
5. We put a rover on mars
6. Google Glass and the iWatch look really futuristic when people wear them

So do you really think that we are in the future or are people still going to complain by the lack of things that hover?
