For several years my husband has had soft erections… he only gets really hard when he climaxes. I have acted like I don't notice because he acts like he doesn't notice. I am still attractive- we have been married 15 years. I asked him this morning how I looked and how my body looks to him… he said muscular and attractive..he was sincere… So then I mentioned I had read that all men have soft erection problems at some point and when he sees his doctor could he ask advice and or for viagra. (actually not all men do) … I want him to talk to the doctor.
I really tried not to talk about this---but it got to the point where its difficult for him to get inside me because of the softness. I do not nag him about anything---we don't fight.we are best friends. He is a good guy… but it is now so obvious. He wants to have sex though at these soft times.So I do mention turning on the ipad and watching porn. He wont do it in front of me. I told him watching porn is normal… he is addicted to porn.
I read that a man should be able to maintain an erection until he climaxes- which is normal. He does drink alot and has stress at work. He is awake at night almost every night. He is over weight 20 pounds. He is an alcoholic. I do realize his drinking may be causing all this… and he will NEVER stop drinking.
is there another solution? No he wont go to AA I offered to go and pretend to be an alcoholic with him--he still wont go. ( i dont drink).
