My router is a Linksys WRT120N, and I got it wired to my desktop.
The thing is, whenever I play an online game (specifically, League of Legends) my ping skyrockets whenever my family use the internet via wifi on their laptops and iPads. The high ping lasts for seconds to minutes to even the end of the whole game depending on what they're doing.
Is there a way for my PC to take priority in bandwidth over theirs? Or at least some way for my game to take priority over theirs? I think I've been seeing things like "Port Forwarding", but I think I'll be needing certain info for it to work…
