Glide video messaging?

I dropped my phone and scattered the screen, ordered a new phone and the only information I was able to retrieve on Google was my old old old contacts from when I had my old phone number! Which includes some people I don't talk to anymore! I downloaded Glide and all of a supposed I clicked and clicked to just hurry and get it working and the next thing I know is that it sent to 290 contacts! So far it has done all the A's and B's in my phone I've deleted them and uninstalled glide will that make it stop sending pit the text messages so that the people who do not have my new number don't get it? Another question my ex is included in my old contacts (the reason I got my number changed) if I uninstall glide I hope it won't send him the text with my new number to join because his name starts with a p and I uninstalled at b but on glide his showed up on my friends it didn't send him the message that I had joined on glide but will it? And when I downloaded Glide on my ipad and he wasn't in my friends! So my questions are will uninstalling Glide stop it from sending the "Join Glide" text messages and will uninstalling glide remove the people that do not have my number from my glide? And if I reinstall what will happened?
