While watching a movie on my husbands iPad, I saw an email he had written to a female coworker that had an article he said she "might fight interesting." She emailed him back a thank you and then he came back with a little coy email immediately back to her. The email wasn't overtly flirty but my gut tells me that there is more to it. There are a couple reasons why I feel this way. The first is that in all the years we've been married, I've never received an email like that and he hasn't sent anyone else an article so his excuse that he does it all the time doesn't fly. I also feel like if it was honestly just work related his email back to her immediately after her email wouldn't have happened. I do not think anything is going on now, but I think he may be trolling for it.
Added (1). I should add that we share outlook on the iPad so we would see each other's emails anyway. I wasn't snooping. Our email is open for each other to see, he was however forwarding his work emails on that particular day. I'm not angry or trying to create drama. I just wanted outsiders' opinions to put the situation into perspective. I will talk to him when he returns from China. This isn't a talk for over the phone while he's traveling.
