iPad mini
Every 5 minutes or so the screen crashes and turns off (it goes a bit pixellated then goes off) and a few seconds later the apple logo appears, as if it is turning on.
I've tried it while plugged in but doesn't seem to prevent it from happening.
Any thoughts on how to fix it?

I also have insurance but I have to pay a £50 excess fee
Do you think apple would repair it for free?
