Our wifi range in the house isn't very good and I have been trying to sort this by getting an wifi extender - maybe repeater, don't know the correct term. The problem I now have is that my laptop and various mobile devices will happily connect to the extender but there's no internet access. Any ideas what I can do to fix this?
I previously had a netgear extender wn1000rp which worked for a while then refused to connect to internet so have just bought a tp - link TL WR710N.
I know that a wired powerline extender would fix this but it is really for things like ipad and tablets that we need the better signal.
