We have an iPad Mini, less than a year old and it's original charger. The iPad was completely dead, so I've plugged it into a wall outlet, and the iPad turned on, but stays at 1% charged. I've tried resetting by holding down the home and power buttons, but it just shuts down and shows me the large battery icon in the middle of the screen. If I unplug the charger at this point, it prompts me to plug back in, then eventually turns on and stays at 1%. There are no lightning bolt icons at any time indicating that it's charging. I've tried different outlets and the computer, all with the same results.
