me, my wife and my 1 and half old baby will be travelling to these places this September (second week) for 13 days. Any tips what to bring? Where to go/not to go? Where to eat? (kosher/halal food), Hotel/hostel near attractions? Prices? We already have budget in mind but would be glad to hear your views and suggestions for those who have been to these places.

Also, i will be renting a car from geneve to lucerne, for 3 days perhaps
renting a navigator would cost more so im thinking to buy a sim card with internet package so we can use my ipad instead. Would this be practical? Any idea for a cheap car rental in Geneva?
Would it be ok to stay in the city (lucerne) or houses near mountainous area would be fine?
