hi, so generally we have 2 devices streaming plus me playing games on our internet which isnt so bad. But when a certain device streams all of our internet just takes a hit no matter what. It could just be that device and the down speed will drop from 18mbs to 6mbs. I have no idea why but it is quite annoying. It is an apple ipad 2 (we have another one but even when that one streams the down speed doesnt really take a hit).
ive played games and the speed wont really take a hit even with 2 other devices streaming it drops about 6-8 mbs. Im not sure why this happens i also have no networking experience so im not sure how to explain it to be helpful.
Added (1). also it seems that it is using a online website (not youtube) to stream a series rather then netflix or hulu. Im not sure if that could be a factor.
