I'm creating a board game that I'm going to try and sell. It's like the board game risk, but I've changed some rules and added rules and I've taken out some stuff. The board is different, but still similar. It's got the same basic principle of controlling everything on the board. Could I get sued if I made sold this game and made money off of it? I'm going to go to either a lawyer or an inventor to help me get it out there, so people will start buying it. I feel like I could get sued for it because it is pretty similar, but I also feel like it's like some company creating an off brand iPad or something.
