I have an old 1st gen iPad that I just tried to plug it in but it will not even recognize that it is charging. It has been charging for 2 hours now and I have tried holding home/power for 15-20 seconds. The iPad has been just sitting for about 2-3 years. Can it break while just sitting? My charger works for another iPad. I just want to make sure I that if I CAN bring it back to life, then I will.
