Can you recover data from iPad?

My sister has an old iPad and she forgot the passcode to the iPad so she had Apple reset it for her after that she hasn't used her iPad at all so I gave it to friend to use and because the iPad wasn't set up yet my friend had to use her own apple account to sign into the ipad. My sister got really mad and now she took my iPad and keeps using it just to watch Netflix I think she's being mad for no reason because first of all there wasn't anything on the iPad anyways no photos no files the only app was Netflix and I bought her the iPad as a gift too. Anyhow can I just log into her Apple account and everything will be back in the iPad as if first was before it was reset?
