I m classified as a high tenor, and I mostly listen to rock & punk (The Beatles, Kings of Leon, Nirvana, Green Day etc.), but from what I m hearing my voice sounds too high pitched to sing it. Especially when I record myself on my iPad of iPhone4. In other words, it doesn t suit the songs. I ve been really wanting to sing those two genres the most, but I get discouraged because of my voice type. Am I doomed to sing pop (not that pop is bad. It s just not what I prefer ;p) or is there still hope?
If there are any high tenor punk & rock vocalists, I d love it if you guys could recommend some to me so I can take a listen:)
