I currently have a Netgear WGR614v10 N150 single-band router that I bought in 2011-2012, it works great but I want to know if upgrading will improve performance of my devices/network. The devices on my network are a PS3, Wii U, iPad Mini (1st gen), 2 Roku s (a Roku HD and an LT), an HP desktop computer, and iphone 5s (soon to be 6s). These are not all active simultaneously, usually the computer and Roku s and the iPhone. From what I can tell all but the PS3 and possibly HP computer support the 802.11N protocol. Will upgrading to a dual band router increase network speeds or improve overall performance?
