So I got into a LOT of trouble at the end of July and i lost my phone, iPad, and Xbox. Since it's been 5 months, I think that it's been a reasonable amount of time for me to not have my phone. (Btw the 2 other people I got in trouble with got everything back 3 months ago) I asked my mom when I can have my phone back and she said that I could have it right now if it were up to her, but I would have to ask my dad for it because she's too scared to. My dad is the most short tempered, impatient, scary man you'll ever meet, but I'm never going to get it back if I don't ask him. How do I ask him for it delicately?
P.s. I was thinking about asking him for it for Christmas, but I don't know how to
