I'm starting out as a begginer coder and I can't make up my mind about what laptop I should get, I need some advice?

I've been wanting to code for iOS from the day I started to learn code but never had the opportunity to do so and in fact I started to code because of Swift Playgrounds app on iPad, so far I've taught myself quite a considerable amount given the time frame. Anyway all that aside I'm now faced With the question of whether going the MacBook route or a windows pc route. Obviously you can't do Xcode on windows, but much cheaper. (Hackintosh is a no go, too much hassle)
The reason I guess I wanna make apps for iOS specifically may have something to do with me using Apple products except their computers from an early age.
I want to know whether to go with a MacBook would be the right choice for me, I certainly want to get cracking but only thing holding me back is not having one. I don't wanna let my emotions cloud my judgement and end up screwed so here I'm for a second opinion asking you guys… Any advice would be greatly appreciated…

So far I've been able to code in Java, PHP, HTML CSS, C#, little bit of c++ and c. Now I'm just tinkering around photoshop so I can use it as a tool for designing UIs and stuff.

What's the best App on an ipad or any other system to teach a 11 year old how to read?

I have a foster child, who does not know how to read. It. Bothers me that him or his siblings do not know how to read. I wish I could keep him, he loves me and loves my house, however I do know his mother has plans to get him back.

Parents too strict about Xbox?

I'm 13 years old and my parents have put an internet restriction on my Xbox so my internet connection goes dead at 9:30 every night making my Xbox completely useless. I ask them why I have it but my 7 year old brother doesn't have it for his iPad (Which he uses much longer than me, even in the mornings BEFORE school) and why my 17 year old brother doesn't, their excuse for that is that he's nearly 18. Why do they treat me like a baby when they feel like it, but then expect me to act mature when they want me to? Is there any way I can persuade them to turn off the restrictions.

My brother has been calling me names without a second thought. Is it bad to let this continue?

I'm nineteen. My fifteen year old brother is an introverted nerd type that spends his time playing games or reading things on his iPad all day. He's grown into one of those know it all a that disagrees with everything you say. This boy also never listens and argues with his parents every single day. Every single conversation with him results in him saying to me "Your dumb" "you're a retard". When he first started using these terms it shocked me because to actual people with mental illnesses and disabilities and its plain ignorant. Now he says it all the time and I realise i shouldn't be letting my younger brother speak to me like this. Ned Where did my power go? How can I make him fear me again as an older sister? Ever since he entered his teens all he does is insult me. I miss the little kid version of my brother. I don't know what happened. Is it better to just ignore him all together until he's matured.

Connecting wireless xbox one controller to pc?

Is it possible to connect a xbox one wireless controller to pc through a secondary device like an ipad or iphone? I was thinking of connecting my ipad to my pc via USB, and then connect my controller to the ipad through bluetooth, but is this possible?

IPad keeps shutting down on the apple logo

It started happening a few minutes ago when I restarted the device, I found out that my device was shutting off after it showed the apple logo, what should I do?

Facebook location not showing up on posts?

I have tried EVERYTHING. This is happening on my andoid phone, my ipad, my boyfriend's computer and his phone too. Other people seem to not have this problem. This has been going on for a month now. We tried restarting, factory reset, clearing cache, reinstalling app. Nothing. This is very bothersome as we travel a lot and just like having the location in small grey letters come up. The check in option works fine but that isn't what we want to use. Does anyone have a solution for this or have any idea why this is happening?!

Ipad pro 10.5 or 12.9?

I'm looking to start digital art, I do and have been doing traditional for a while but it does get very tiring having to always clean everything and have so much to set up before I actually start painting.

Though I don't know if I should go with 10.5 or 12.9. Or if another device is amazing for digital art. I want to be able to draw and see what I'm drawing and on a big screen. I've been looking at apples Ipad pros because I know I can trust apple (most of the time) but they're so expensive and I'm just starting that I would be completely for considering cheaper options.
