So I'm 22 year old guy and met this woman who's 32 on an Amtrak train from California to New York… We got along so well. We both love to drink wine. The reason I'm asking this question is because when we stopped at Chicago we had to get a taxi to get to a currency exchange store and we only had exactly 13 dollars cash, and guess what? The cab fare cost EXACTLY 13!
We also stopped at a bar after getting some cash. We had a couple of beers. Another funny thing was that the bar was playing classic old select rock songs that we BOTH knew and loved and we literally danced until it was time to go.
Now we went walking for miles in search of a cheap wine store cause we were literally both broke. We found a wine store! Looked for the cheapest wine without needing a cork screw cause we wouldn't be able to open it since we didn't have a cork screw. We asked the clerk and he gave us the last 2 bottles of twist-to-open wine bottles. And the funny thing was that the name of the wine was called "Flip Flops".
We both were wearing FLIP FLOPS because we both forgot our shoes back in Cali…
Now we went looking for a store that sold cigarettes…
The SAME exact thing happened… the cigarette was $12.00 to be exact. She only had 7 dollars in her wallet and I had EXACTLY 5 dollars… We were both blown away… It was so funny!
After we got on the final train to NY late at night we just drank the night away. Kept each others company. We cuddled all night long, and held hands going out when the train would stop for a smoke stop. We pretty much acted like a couple, I guess that's what everyone who saw us thought of…
We both live in NJ and we got each others number and address.
We both trusted each other the moment we met. She would give her purse to me whenever she'd go somewhere and she'd take my ipad.
There is SO much more that happened that I can't explain because it's too long haha.
It was like this trip was meant to happen so we could meet.
