Would you recommend buying an iPad or an Android tablet to use nav applications? Apple seems to be better but Android is slowly improving, so maybe both are good enough.
Also, what apps do you recommend? I fly mostly in Canada and sometimes in the USA.

Added (1). I believe I am competent enough with paper charts. I am aware that I will still need them as a backup should my tablet fail. Now would you mind answering my question instead of judging my abilities?
