I am planning on purchasing a tablet soon.
The main reason I want to get a tablet is so that I can show my art portfolio and photography portfolio with ease when meeting potential clients and/or ad agencies for work.
I have been looking at the new iPad and the new Samsung Galaxy… I have to say it is a tough choice. I have a MacBook Pro 17" and a Samsung Galaxy S3 Phone… and I am a fan of both systems.
But what is the best tablet for displaying portfolios? Or is there one app that beats the others hands down for showing your work?
As far as the tablet goes… I am learning the benefits to both.It seems both have their points and their negative sides as well. Photoshop Touch works on both… but with a Samsung Tablet it is pressure sensitive. With an iPad from my understanding you have to buy a stylus like Pogo Connect in order to bring that pressure sensitive function to life.
I also have heard that the display is better with the iPad… but I have also heard that it is not that big of deal.
Additionally I have heard that the Samsung tablet is has more functionality, when it comes to pairing it with other devices and hard drives.
I would love to hear thoughts and opinions on both… recommendations for apps… and if you know of good links for reviews or comparisons let me know as well. I can only find ones for the older models…
What are the advantages to the two tablets and the cons???

Oh I don't want to replace my laptop… actually want a new laptop and a new desktop computer too! But that I have to wait for. Baby steps…
Right now my big thing is to find something that works well for portfolios. Carrying a big portfolio around is cumbersome, and when the weather is bad no fun! So I am opting for a tablet instead.
With that being said of course I will utilize the tablet to do other things as well. I will get the keyboard and nice stylus with a thin nub for art. And I will probably organize things better with it too.
