IPad Mini 2 space problems?

IPad Mini 2 space problems? - 1
Added (1). I have an iPad mini 2 32 GB with iOS 8.3 update. I'm trying to clear out space and my photos and camera are taking up 6.1 GB but I only have 34 pictures and 0 videos on my ipad currently. I've already turned it off and back on to see if the system had delays with updating usage but it's still a strong 6.1 GB. Anyone have any suggestions?
Added (2). FOUND THE ANSWER!

For anyone else looking for the solution here:

Go to Settings
Date & Time
Untoggle "Set Automatically"
Manually change the date back. For example, if today is March 15, 2015, choose August 1, 2014. (You can change it back once we're done)
Close out of that
Open "Photos"
Select "Albums"
Open it, "Select" and start deleting
Now, go back into Settings - General - Usage - Storage - Manage Storage - and you'll notice your Photo & Camera is empty if you deleted everything
