I'm still using my 1st gen iPad running iOS 5.1. I was using my iPad during class and I stopped using it and when I needed to use it again, it opens to a lit black screen.
I already tried pressing the home and sleep button to restart it and nothing :(
I connected it to my mac and it still recognizes it. I restored it and everything.
I don't even know why this is happening since I take good care of it. And I was planning for 1 or 2 more generations before I buy a new one since my siblings have the new ones and I don't see a big difference. Plus I had it for like 2 and a half years only.
